Spring Camp 2019

Only 4 riders/group in the Beginner/First Year Rider classes.

 

Winning Ways Spring Camp will provide an opportunity for all ages (minimum 5 years) and experience levels to enjoy horseback riding.  Riders may choose to immerse themselves in the horse world for all three days or choose the days that are most suitable for them.

Schedule

9-10 am                Beginner & First year Rookies

10:30-12:30         Second year Rookies & Novice

2-4 pm                   Beginner & First year Rookies

6-8 pm                   Intermediate

 

Beginners & First year Rider program

                Introduction to horses and riding

For those who have minimal riding experience—these sessions provide an opportunity to interact with horses and ride (with a Helper for younger children to ensure safety).  Riders in the morning session must be a minimum of 5 years of age and they will groom/saddle twice and unsaddle once during camp. Riders in the afternoon session, aged 8 and over, will groom/saddle and unsaddle each day.

ONE Hour Sessions: $40/session (includes horse fee); $75/2 day; $100/3 days       minimum age 5

 

TWO Hour Sessions: $75/session (includes horse fee); $140/2 day; $200/3 days    minimum age 8

Colts/Novice program

                Different disciplines: Western, English, Trail

For those who have some riding experience and wish to learn more about different types of riding. Riders are in 2-hour sessions so will groom/saddle and unsaddle each day.

 

TWO Hour Sessions: $75/session (includes horse fee); $140/2 day; $200/3 days    minimum age 7           

Intermediate program

                Improve Riding Skills: Core strength; Independent hands/legs; Mind/body

For those who want to get back in the saddle again--Boot Camp for Riders! Exercises for students to improve strength and balance.  Riders must arrive before 5:30 pm to prepare their horse prior to start of session and put away their horse at the end of riding with minimal assistance. A rider may bring their own horse if coach agrees it is suitable as a lesson horse. (Deduct the daily horse fee of $15)

TWO Hour Sessions: $75/session (includes horse fee); $140/2 day; $200/3 days    minimum age 11

 

***Discount available for intermediate riders who wish to participate in Novice sessions as well as Intermediate sessions (4 hours/day)   $125/1 day     $250/2 days    $375/3 days
