Whatever the weather you can always find a horse at Winning Ways!  Spring Camp during Easter Break 2024 is no exception.

Winning Ways 2024 Spring Mini Camps

There will be 3 days of Camp for different ages and phases of knowledge. 

Note: except for Rookie Riders, students may participate in all 3 days of a Mini Camp or choose 1 or 2 days (register early to get the best selection of dates)

Rookie Rider April 2-4 @ 10 -11 AM—3 days of consecutive learning

The youngest students (5-8 year olds) may begin their training with the Rookie Rider program with Roko, Blanco and the ponies. Only 4 students in these sessions, which will get the youngsters started with horses (students will have horse handling helpers to ensure safety).  $125/3 days

Horsemanship    April 2,3,4 @ 3-4:30 PM

Those 9 years and up may participate in Horsemanship on the Ground sessions which will give an opportunity to learn and practice grooming, somatics for both humans and horses, and in-hand training. Youngsters in these sessions may have a helper for safety. 

$40/day $115/3 days

Tuesday            -- Safety & Somatics

Wednesday       -- Grooming, Hoof Care, controlling the horse

Thursday           -- Patterns & courses

Introductory Horsemanship    April 2,3,4  @ 6-7:30 PM

Introductory set of sessions to increase the confidence and safety of youth & adults curious about horses and riding, (especially if you are nervous about coming close to a horse).   You will have an opportunity to learn about safety, horse psychology, terminology, grooming, hoof care, controlling the horse and items of horse equipment (tack).      $45/day  $120/3 days

Family Discount Available: 2 family members less 5%; 3 members less 7.5%; over 3 family members less 10%
